So, I decided I should actually have something that forces me to make regular updates here. So I've decided (rather foolishly, I thought) to do a let's play. However, there's a problem. I have no idea what game I should LP. At the moment I've got a few choices, none of which I think will work very well, for mostly the same reasons.
Champions, Return to Arms: This one looks the most promising out of the three I have. A lot of classes to pick through, and two different storylines, evil and good. Randomly generated weapons, with a lot of interesting weapons modifiers. Unfortunately it's on the PS2, which means no screenshots, and the good/evil choice is made after fighting maybe four very weak monsters. After that there's no real choice in the game.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance: This game is a game I quite enjoy, and is always a bit of fun whenever I decided to dust it off. The only real choice I get in this one, however, is which superheroes I have on my team, and again, it's on the PS2, so no screenshots unless I steal them from the web. The story's nice and cliche.
Icewind Dale: This game has a lot of things going for it. In depth character creation, a lot of choices as you level up, and the ability to take screenshots, as it's on the computer. There is one minor problem, in that I'm absolutely terrible at the game. I have literally never made it past the second area, although that's probably because I never forge ahead like I'm supposed to in these games and just keep going, but rather stuff around to see how much free XP/GP I can get in whatever town I happen to be in. Still, it's a possibility, and it'll probably be the most fun to read for anyone who's reading this. I'm pretty sure it's based off of 1st edition DnD. Not sure though.
I guess that that's all.
So, those are your choices guys.
Get to the comments.

Musical Rehearsal
So, I just had the first rehearsal for my school's musical. The musical, in case any of you are interested, is called Once On This Island, and it's written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Anyway. In the musical I got the part of Beauxhomme, the father of one of the romantic leads. We weren't doing individual part stuff today, instead we worked on one song, called Some Say. The singing was fairly easy, but then we had to do a dance to it.
I should have expected it, really. It is a musical. The usually entails singing, acting and dancing. Now, I'm not exactly the most coordinated of people. Actually, let's not mix words here, I'm probably one of the least coordinated of people. I trip over on flat, level ground. I drop eggs all the time. Additional cliched example of how uncoordinated I am.
So he showed us the first couple of steps, and we went through them a couple of times. "Yeah, I can probably get this after a couple more tries." I thought. He promptly moved on to the next three steps, all of which I completely failed to learn before he moved on. By this time I had forgotten the first couple of steps that he taught us, while simultaneously learning nothing about the new steps. This has lead me to the conclusion that learning how to dance is draining my mind of knowledge.
Oh, and get this bit: That was one of the simple dances. That was one of the dances that was supposed to be easy to get.
I predict that this musical shall be a rousing success.

A blog!
So, this is a blog, huh?
Uh, hi.
So, I decided to make a blog after going on a writing camp. I'm probably going to write things and post them here, and hopefully someone will enjoy them. That's the plan at least.
Information about myself! Yes! All manner of things! I live in Australia, I'm fifteen, real name Patrick but on the internet I'm known as billtodamax. I'm possibly going to be doing a let's play of Champions RTA, or possibly icewind dale, as well as some random stories, and whatever else I think of to put in here.
So, I'm going to kick this whole blog thing off with something I wrote while at said camp. It's tentatively called the philosopher rap.
I think therefore I am. (yeah)
I'm Descartes. (Yeah)
I'm the man.
Your number one philosopher,
Plato is just a whiny cur.
Aristotle
Clings to bottle
And his mother
Like no other.
That ol' Socrates
Well he is just a stupid wheeze
with all his antiquated gods
And all of them are squabbling clods.
Zeno and his stupid turtle
towards which the runner hurtles
have no logic nor no reason
there just ain't no way to please 'em.
Sleazy Herodotus now
he hangs with all the open cows.
Voltaire spreads his awful words
they flutter bout like ugly birds.
No not one of them can reach
Truths universal like I teach
Yes I am just the best at thinking
and they all can't get no inkling
or my superior brain
they're all annoying little pains.
I'm not really happy with it at the moment. The only verses I really like are Zeno's and the last one.
On to the last order of business: The site itself. As is probably quite clear to you, I have just picked out a standard design scheme, one with which I'm not really happy with. Unfortunately, I don't exactly know what else to pick, so I'd like you to leave a comment regarding a new colour scheme and possibly a new design if I don't think the colours work too well on this one. Any other comments would also be appreciated, so that I know if someone's reading this.
So, yeah, I guess that's all.
